Epicenter

Epicenter (2006; trt: 12:25 min) was a projection mapped video installation exhibited in 2006 at Bad Dog Gallery. The piece was a collaboration between me and Christopher Cannon that was created in part as a response to the Hurricane Katrina disaster. Chris supplied the stunning screen print (25” x 40″) and I provided the projection mapped found footage video collage. The video consisted of a set of short vignettes revolving around the themes of hurricanes, displacement as well as everyday American obsessions / distractions of food, sex and pop culture.
